The complete package, October 8, 2012 By This review is from: Webroot SecureAnywhere Internet Security Complete 2013 - 5 Devices (CD-ROM) I chose Webroot because it protects against spyware as well as virus in one package. Now that I have it, it's my favorite virus protection I've ever had because I don't notice it's there. It runs in the background, and never bothers me to update or run full system scans.

I have used others programs in the past and they seem to bog down the computer. Ever since switching to Webroot I have never had any weird problems with windows such as spyware that slows browsing or any other problems. I figure if we have never had a problem what so ever its worth the money to keep our laptops that way! We do alot of online purchases and bill paying with no worries. The laptop always runs quick and I couldn't be happier.

But that one flaw is so extremely annoying I've dropped it back to 1 star.
Almost everything that Webroot does, it does silently and quietly and doesn't bother me with anything I should not care about. But, the one thing that it does do that has become "in my face" annoying, has to do with the keystroke logging protection.
Webroot offers protection against malware that can intercept your keyboard keystrokes and learn personal ID's and passwords. This is a fantastic feature but to do this Webroot installs it's own keyboard driver. That alone isn't the problem. What is the problem is that Webroot arbitrarily made the decision that it would be easier for them if they simply declared that everyone who uses the Keyboard Keypad, wants to use it in Numlock On mode. The fact there is a Numlock Key present so people can put it in whatever mode they want doesn't matter. Their... Read more

The good news here is that there is an explanation and fix for this issue and I am hopeful that once it is resolved for you, that you will enjoy using SecureAnywhere Complete to keep your computer protected and will come back and modify your review.
First, I want to clarify for you that SecureAnywhere does NOT replace the keyboard driver on your PC, nor does SecureAnywhere force your Num Lock key to ON. The most likely cause of the issue you are having has to do with one or more of the applications on your PC being set to "block" mode by the Identity Shield in SecureAnywhere. This shield serves to protect you from key loggers and other threats that can steal your private information. We have created a step-by-step guide on the Webroot Community on how to fix this issue.
